My friend John Kerrigan. I met
him 31Oct86 at Rhein-Main Air Base, FRG (my first duty day as
Air Force Fuzz). What a weird swing shift that was... there were
so many irritated Frankenstein's Monsters, Werewolves, Vampires
& other assorted Halloweenies coming in the Main Gate. Why
were they irritated?... Because we had a 100% hands on ID check
& the ghoulies had to match the photos on the ID's. My favorite
was the Mummy. He worked so hard on wrapping his entire body in
gauze & Ace bandages & really looked like he wanted to
kill me for making him unwrap his head & face. |
| John is a very dedicated Law Enforcement professional.
He's one hell of a cop with a very distinguished career. He is quick
witted & has a keen sense of humor. Wish I had a copy of one
particular "Jeep Joke" he played on an unsuspecting Airman
which involved the Base Fire Department, Base Hospital, Base Command
Post and other agencies who played along with what had to be the
best prank in Security Police history. |

John was also part of another
435th SPS Original... TSgt Keith Avery's impromptu re-enlistment
ceremony which was hastily held in the restroom adjacent LED in
Bldg 343. How appropriate!
In addition to his many accolades, John is also (technically)
a professional comedy writer. Ask him about his original joke
which was printed in an international monthly publication. He
won the monthly contest & received a cash prize of $50. |
