I left Rhein Main in March 1993 headed for Ellsworth AFB, SD. After staying there the minimum amount of time I left in July 1995 headed to Osan. I stayed there for a year and decided I shad spent enough time working Investigations so I retrained into the First Sergeant Career Field and went off to Misawa AB, Japan for about 3 ½ years. When I left Misawa, I went to Elmendorf AFB, AK where I stayed until I retired in 2002. After retirement I was hired as a police officer for the Anchorage, AK Police Department and stayed with them for just shy of two years. I fell into a civil service job with the Air Force back on Elmendorf and from there found my current job at the Defense Security Service Academy. My two kids are both in college in Anchorage and I managed to hang on to my wife who I have been married to for the last 22 years.
