I will never forget those days in Germany. I spent a lot of time in the gym, on the flight line, at the club or downtown. Competing in Airlift Rodeo and 2 Defender Challange competions were the highlights of my 2 1/2 years there. I made and subsequently lost track of several very good friends/comrades there. This was my first duty station and I had no idea how good it was there. Of course I soon learned, upon arrival at the next duty station Tyndall AFB Fl, the real deal. I really missed all the people and fun we had at the Rhein. Since I left Rhein-Main, I got married to Kim Caron Engemann, had two beauitful girls, served in the AF for a total of 22 years with tours at Tyndall, Thule, Greenland, Elmendorf AFB, AK, Keflavik, Iceland and back to Elmendorf. I can say my most rewarding experience while in the AF is two fold. First was having the honor to serve with all the fine SP/SF members over the years starting with my favorite - Rhein Main and second was guarding General Abizaid while he visited various Central Command locations in '06 for my last deployment. Currently I work on the North Slope of Alaska as a dispatcher for Purcell Security.

I stumbled on to this site by a quirk of fate and its been one long trip down memory lane. I am now finding log lost freinds left and right. Feel free to contact me at chitowneagle "at" yahoo.com. Thanks Chuck!
