I was stationed at the “Rhein” from 1983-1987. I started out working on SPOS-D for TSgt Fred Levins and SSgt Doug Doney. I was hired into QC and worked with TSgt Rob Kirkpatrick and TSgt Chris Carr. I left there in Oct 87 and was stationed at Altus AFB, OK. I worked flight for awhile then took over as NCOIC, Personnel Security. Then in Dec 92 I headed to RAF Upper Heyford where I was one of the Flight Chiefs for swings/mids. I then took over as NCOIC, Information Security. From there, my travels took me to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey in Mar 94. I ran Pass and Registration for about a year, got promoted to MSgt then became a First Sgt for the Maintenance/Munitions Sq. I headed back to the states in 96 to Scott AFB, IL. I was the First Sgt for HQ Air Weather Service, Medical Group, Transportation Sq, Air Force Communications Agency, Regional Supply Squadron & Civil Engineer Squadron. I was promoted to CMSgt and finished my First Sgt career as the Shirt for HQ Air Mobility Command. I was pulled back into the Security Forces career field and went to Tinker AFB, OK for two years as their Security Forces Manager.

I retired in Apr 07 and came back to Illinois to join my family. I have been working at Boeing in St Louis as a Contractor Program Security Officer. I have just been hired by the Defense Contract Management Agency as a Supervisor Security Manager and will head to Anaheim, CA this week (09-13Feb09).
