Andy Opper was born in 1966 in West Germany. He served proudly as a member of the 435th SPS from 1986 until 1991. He started as an entry controller and proved himself an essential asset to the squadron immediately. Working his way up the career ladder Andy became a certified patrolman. Through continued training and effort Opper was promoted to the position of interpreter & investigator.

Since the cold war was over and the US began a draw down of troops from Germany, Andy joined the German Polizei in 1991. He accrued another 7 years in a patrol vehicle and also served as law enforcement Desk Sgt. Changing sections Andy became a criminal investigator with secret specializations (NFI for security reasons).

Andy now lives in Frankfurt with his two beautiful daughters (born in 1991 and 1994), his girlfriend and her son. He is a member of the International Police Association.

Because of his personal situation Andy is temporarily unable to provide BAQ (a place for guests to sleep in his flat). But former SP's, their friends and families are always welcome. If you plan to visit Frankfurt or the Rhein-Main area and need assistance, do not hesitate to contact Andy Opper.
