435th SPS - Update On Sgt Craig Pierce

16APR07 - I was also shocked that they closed RM down, that base was there forever. I can remember going through there back in the 70's as a army dependent. I found the site by typing in 435th sps on Yahoo.

I did enjoy my time on the Rhein, I got sent to Ellsworth after that and did missile security/Desert Storm after that. I got out in 1993 and tried everything from the Fire Department/EMT, long haul trucking and asset protection at Target. I finally went back into the cop business in corrections at the ST Johns county sheriffs office in ST Augustine, FL. I did that for about 2 years then went over the road and got my dual cert. But as you found out the money just wasn't there. So I talked to the recruiter, all of them, and found out that navy would put me back in as a E-6 with a 10K bonus if I went Master At Arms. I have enjoyed the navy, did 3 years on a ship, now I am on shore duty in Orlando. I am the force protection officer and a watch commander for
another couple of months. I head to GTMO next for detainee ops.
