After leaving RM I went to Grissom AFB, and stayed there 4 years, then off to Malmstrom for 2 years, where I crossed trained into the Safety career field. I was then assigned to Fairchild for 4 years then last but not least Elmendorf for 5 years where I retired in 2005. I was hired for the Ground Safety Superintendent position, GS-11, at Fairchild where I’m at today. My son, who was born while stationed at RM is now graduated and will be attending the Western Culinary School in Portland, OR. My daughter will be a junior in high school and my wife of 21 years is still with me for whatever reason. I served in almost every country that we deploy to at some point in time. Even as civil service I’ve been to the big sand box.
